January Challenge - The Clover
Welcome to the January challenge: The Clover!
You and your 4-legged teammate will need to work together to trace the shape of a four-leaf clover, using a send-around and a 2-paws up.
There are three levels for this challenge. You can pick whichever level you would like to complete. A diagram of the setup and the different levels is shown below.

All three levels involve you cueing your teammate to do a send-around to a 2-paws-up, then repeating this three more times, each time turning 90 degrees, to form the shape of the four-leaf clover. The only difference between the levels is the distance between you and the cone (or whatever you’re using for the send-around) when you cue your teammate:
Level 1: Start standing level with the step, then you can step forward as far as you need to, to guide your teammate around the cone. Remember to step backwards after the send-around, so that you can guide your teammate to the step for the 2-paws up.
Level 2: Start anywhere behind the step (i.e. towards the centre of the ‘clover’), then you can step towards (but not in front of) the step when you cue your send-around. This means the distance you will send your teammate forwards is at least 1m.
Level 3: Start standing in the centre of the ‘clover’. You can step forwards to cue your send-around but your back foot must always be in the exact centre of the clover. This means the distance you will send your teammate forwards is just under 2m. You can use a floor target as a visual marker for yourself if you like.
When you video your challenge, please make sure that you keep the whole ‘clover’ in view throughout.
To submit your video, just follow the link in your email. You should already have seen the demonstration video for the challenge in the same email.
